Holiday Gift Guide 2022

This season, as we set out to new cities like Austin and Phoenix, we look forward to sharing our service with more of you. But just because we’re growing, doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten our hometown roots.

Our cars have logged hundreds-of-thousands of driverless miles on the streets of San Francisco. In all that driving, we’ve gotten to know some of the brands and businesses who also call SF home. This year, we’re sharing some of those shops that we think would make the perfect present for you or someone you love.

And we’ve got gifts that feel good, taste good, and help you do good—all from right here in The Bay. Happy holidays!

Feel Good Gifts

SummersANDFall

SummersANDFall is a beauty and wellness brand with a full-service salon in Lower Nob Hill. Their house-made products are the perfect gift for the self-care enthusiast on your list. Vegan, clean, and sustainably sourced, their moisturizers, soaps, bath bombs, and soaking salts will help anyone relax into the new year. Use code SAFCruise at check-out for 25% off.

Everlane

Everlane has become a staple in sustainable, accessible style in San Francisco and beyond. This season, we recommend their New Day Market Tote, crafted from unique plant-based materials made to feel like “leather,” but with a lower environmental footprint. Grab one to instantly look good and feel good.

Farmgirl Flowers

Frustrated with boring flowers and wasteful packaging, Farmgirl founder began offering one bouquet—bundled in burlap sacks from a local coffee roaster—from her SF apartment. Now famous for their signature feel-good style, Farmgirl has delivered millions of bouquets nationwide. And they still work with local coffee roasters, picking up empty sacks to wrap their arrangements. Use code CRUISE at check-out for 20% off.

Taste Good Gifts

Three Babes Bakeshop

What started as a couple babes baking pies in a shipping container in the Mission has grown to a critically acclaimed bakery that ships sweets nationwide. While you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, try the Salty Honey Walnut or Toffee Apple for something a little different this holiday.

Little Burde Chocolate

Some brands are proud of growing big, while others are committed to staying little. This woman-owned, uncompromising chocolate shop proudly makes little bars in little batches. Staying small allows them to make the best, most delicious chocolate ever—and now you can send some to your loved ones near and far.

Humphry Slocombe

Named one of the Best Ice Cream Shops in America, Humphry Slocombe isn’t scooping your average vanilla sundae. With one-of-a-kind flavors like Black Sesame, Smoked S’mores, and Matchadoodle, expect to try something new every time you pop in.

Andytown Coffee Roaster

Wake up with a cup of Andytown coffee whether you live in Outer Sunset or across the country. What started as a solo shop on Lawton Street, has expanded to include multiple SF locations, an in-house bakery, and a standalone roastery that ships nationally. Their roasts range from classic and comforting to wild and experimental—so everyone will find a flavor they’ll love.

Do Good Gifts

San Francisco-Marin Food Bank

This season, set up a monthly donation to the San Francisco Marin Food Bank for a gift that gives all year round. Every week, the SF Marin Food Bank distributes support to 50,000 Bay Area households, nearly 60% of which is fresh fruit and vegetables. Cruise has partnered with them since 2020 to help deliver meals to residents in need.
