This Privacy Statement applies to personal information we obtain from and about individuals interacting with Cruise via the website located at www.getcruise.com (the "Website"), Cruise’s various social media pages, or direct interaction with Cruise employees.
Section "Privacy Statement for Cruise Job Applications" below applies only to individuals that have applied for employment with Cruise and throughout the Cruise hiring process.

Cruise’s hiring process consists of multiple steps designed to evaluate your skills and qualifications for a particular position. When you choose to participate in the Cruise hiring process, you will be asked to provide Cruise with personal information about yourself. The personal information that you provide will be used to match your skills and interest to Cruise job requirements. Your personal information will also be used to contact and identify you throughout the hiring process.

Additionally, nothing in this Privacy Statement prevents the use of the legal process by Cruise or other parties.
It should be recognized that data transmission over the internet or data storage systems is not a 100% secure therefore, no company can perfectly protect personal information.
We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this section unless longer retention is required by law or for auditing purposes. If after submitting your application you agree to be included in our applicant pool, then your data may be stored for a longer period of time.
Except as required by law, we do not collect or process any sensitive personal information (e.g., information concerning religion, racial, ethnic origin, political opinions or other beliefs, union affiliation or activities, health, sexuality, criminal administrative proceedings or sanctions) as part of our hiring process.
